DMV or Nothing is DC Crank Radio’s dedicated drive-time segment built to put DMV artists in the spotlight during one of the most important listening windows of the day: 4 PM to 7 PM EST, when people are getting off work, riding through the city, stuck in traffic, or tapped in on the way home.
This opportunity is great for local artists because most stations do not give independent DMV talent that kind of prime-time placement. DMV or Nothing gives artists a real chance to have their music heard in rotation during a high-attention time slot, while helping push DMV music and culture to a bigger audience.
DC Crank Radio’s mission is to provide an international stage for DMV music and culture, and this segment is one of the ways we are making that happen. Every approved submission helps us build our first full block of DMV-only music and gives local artists a platform that treats their work with the same respect as major releases.
